BADGER PROJECT
The badger project is one that i have been working on throughout spring & summer 2020, and hope to continue after the winter and into 2021. i worked to gain the trust and tolerance of 7 badgers, who we named ollie, luna, badgerino, prince, solar and a final unnamed female. the badgers are extremely used to my presence and eat & forage around me with no aggression or defensiveness. it was important for this project that we also maintained their natural distrust for humans, so we were never hands-on with the badgers, nor did we do anything to upset them. everything we did was completely on their terms to ensure their safety.
winter project
as we are yet again forced into another lockdown in the uk, i decided to embark on another project while the badgers are less active. i have tried a bit of pet photography, focusing on my dog, storm, and hope to capture some foxes, kingfishers and owls in the local woodland and canals.
